On Track Meals uses retort pouch technology, a high-heat sterilisation process used by defence forces and space programs that keeps real flavour, texture and nutrition without freeze-drying or dehydration. These are civilian packs, so anyone can order them. Every meal is made in Australia from mostly locally sourced ingredients, and most items carry a 3-year shelf life from the manufacture date.
