What Goes Into Our Army Ration Packs?
Each army ration pack is a self-contained kit of ready to eat meals and snacks, sealed in retort pouches that need no refrigeration. On Track Meals uses retort pouch technology, a high-heat sterilisation process used by defence forces and space programs that keeps real flavour, texture and nutrition without freeze-drying or dehydration. These are civilian packs, so anyone can order them. Every meal is made in Australia from mostly locally sourced ingredients, and most items carry a 3-year shelf life from the manufacture date.
Single-Day, Multi-Day and Bulk Options
The range runs from single-day Go Packs, including two vegetarian options, through to multi-day 4x4 packs that cover four days of food, and a bulk Go Pack carton with twelve days of meals for a full resupply. Whether you are after an army ration pack for a training weekend, military ration packs for a deployment kit, or a single 24 hour ration pack, the format stays compact, durable and ready when you are.
Trusted in the Field
On Track Meals is trusted by the NSW Rural Fire Service, NSW Parks, the Australian Federal Police, and the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre. Each pouch heats in boiling water in around three minutes, or in a flameless heater bag in 8 to 12 minutes when no stove is available.
Pairing With the Wider Range
For more protein, filter to the high-protein options, or add hearty meat meals to a pack. Campers building a longer trip lean on the camping meal range or multi-day hiking meals, and the meal bundles make it easy to stock up across flavours.
